LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian’s life has played out in the tabloids for years now, ever since they started their affair on their then-spouses and went on to get married. Rimes’ heated relationship with Cibrian’s ex-wife, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville, has been a fixture in the media as well. Now the couple will be able to get their point of view across in a new reality show with Vh1.
The show, called LeAnn & Eddie, will be six episodes long and either air in fall 2013 or winter 2014. They will both be executive producers on the project.
"We are really excited to be working together on a unique show that will give you a glimpse into who we really are or better yet who we're really not," they said in a statement to Us Weekly. "We're thrilled to partner with Vh1 and The Gurneys [of Gurney Productions] to put our spin on a project full of love, humor and music."
The president of the network, Tom Calderone, also said in a statement, "LeAnn and Eddie are both talented entertainers who have really captured the public's imagination in the last couple of years, but there is so much more to them than what you read in the tabloids. This is going to be a really fun show in which we hope to reveal what their lives are really like - from the normalcy of their home life, to what drives them artistically, to the chaos of their celebrity life."
Back in April, there were reports that the couple was pitching a scripted series that was based on their lives together, but it seems they have decided to jump in it full force and just show themselves in their everyday lives, raising Cibrian’s sons with Glanville.
