Kanye West will likely walk free and clear of any charges when it comes to his scuffle with a paparazzo last week at LAX. There is currently an investigation going on by LAPD robbery detectives.
The paparazzo alleges that the Yeezus rapper tried to steal his equipment when he attacked him, but sources say the D.A. will never charge the new father with felony attempted robbery.
Sources told TMZ of the case that there’s no proof he tried to steal the camera so what they predict is that the case will go to the D.A., only to get rejected in a matter of days.
A possible misdemeanor criminal battery prosecution is next, but when that arrives at the L.A. City Attorney’s office, sources say West will pay to have it dismissed.
The Improper reports West and the paparazzo will probably go into a “civil compromise” which is supported under California law. This will result in West forking over cash and the case getting completely dropped.
