Robert Downey Jr. made a little boy cry when his mom told him that he was Iron Man, the only problem was that he wasn’t in costume. The photo is now going viral.
The actor was shooting a scene for his film The Judge in Sunderland, Massachusetts when local resident Heather Denno brought their ½ year old son to see the actor.
“Yeah, my husband’s a huge Iron Man fan. He said you have to take Jaxson down to see ‘Iron Man,’ But I felt weird, like a tourist in my own town,” she told Boston.com.
She wasn’t quite prepared for what came next, which was waterworks from their son. She told People Jaxson “was so confused because I kept telling him it was Iron Man and he knew it wasn't. Well, not Iron Man in the suit."
“I said to my son, ‘Hey, here’s ‘Iron Man,’ but he didn’t have the red suit on so Jaxson put his hands over his face and got upset,” she continued to Boston.com. “He was amazing. You could tell he was a father. He was so sweet and nurturing.”
As for her husband, Denno said “He had joked that if I got a picture with [Downey], he’d give me $100. He still hasn’t paid me.”
