Dannielynn Birkhead, the daughter of the late Anna Nicole Smith, is following in the footsteps of her mother’s over-the-top style.
The 6 year old showed up to the Kentucky Derby with her father, Larry Birkhead, and they were dressed in costumes from Marry Poppins. Dannielynn wore an elaborate white dress, complete with an umbrella, a hat and gloves while her dad wore a striped blazer and white pants.
People reports that Birkhead revealed on Twitter that the costumes were all his daughter’s idea.
He tweeted, along with a picture of their inspiration:

He also wrote, “great day at the ky derby yesterday with the little one. only bet was on a good time. thanks to the Barnstable-Brown family4 great weekend.”
When a fan said they looked “so great,” he replied “thanks it was special to her.”
USA Today reports that Smith died in 2007. Her daughter is also following in her footsteps in her career, as she inked a deal with Guess to be the face of Guess kids in March. Smith was a famous Guess model early in her career.
