NCIS’ season finale pulled in the viewers, but it couldn’t beat The Voice’s ratings. The two shows lead their networks to a split night Tuesday.
CBS drew the most viewers, coming in with 12.9 million. However, the network was behind NBC in the ratings with a 2.3 18-49 rating average. NCIS was up from last week with 18.2 million viewers and a 3.2 18-49 rating, notes The Wrap. NCIS: LA followed with 13.4 million viewers and a 2.5 18-49 rating. The ‘dead-show-walking’ Golden Boy drew 7.1 million viewers and a 1.2 18-49 rating.
According to HitFix, ABC had the second-most viewers with 8.18 million, but scored just a 1.4 18-49 rating. Wipeout had 4.43 million viewers and a 1.1 18-49 rating, while Dancing with the Stars results had 11.6 million viewers and a 1.8 18-49 rating. Body of Proof, another cancelled show, had 8.52 million viewers and a 1.4 key demo rating.
NBC had 7.44 million viewers and a 2.4 18-49 rating, which was the best average of the night. Following a Voice rerun, the results show had 10.2 million viewers and a 3.4 18-49 rating, making it the top-rated show for Tuesday. However, Deadline notes that this was down 8 percent from last week’s results. Grimm also dipped to a 1.7 18-49 rating and 5.51 million viewers.
Fox had 4.16 million viewers and a 1.8 18-49 rating. The So you Think You Can Dance premiere was down from last year, drawing under 5 million viewers and a 1.9 18-49 rating. The New Girl finale had 4.05 million viewers and a 2.1 18-49 rating, while The Mindy Project closed its freshman season with 2.65 million and a 1.3 18-49 rating.
The CW already ran out of new content for Tuesdays, so the movie Leap Year aired, averaging 926,000 viewers and a 0.3 18-49 rating.
