8. Love, Simon
Another message to all studios out there: make more rom-coms like Love, Simon. It’s great not just because of the context around the movie — this being one of the first time where a homosexual character is given a totally normal rom-com where we don’t have to pay particular attention to the fact that he’s gay — but because everything else about the movie works too. It’s funny, it’s sweet and it sure as hell packs an emotional punch.
