The ultra-smart, ultra-sexy Siri of the Halo games, Cortana is the artificial intelligence program that guides Master Chief through the games and keeps him safe. She is extremely valuable to the United Nations Space Command for her intelligence and is responsible for handpicking the Master Chief for their compatibility, and throughout the games, she displays great affection for him and a willingness to do anything to protect him. She has it just as bad for us as we do for her.
