Train - 10 songs you need to listen to right now

7. "If It's Love"

If you follow Train on Twitter (@train), you've probably heard a snippet of "If It's Love" time after time after time. During every Train concert, Pat Monahan will film the part of the song that goes "hold your cell phones up in the air" and will continue to pan the crowd with his cell phone camera until halfway through the next chorus segment. He does this in every city and venue the band performs at and is a way for Monahan to interact with all the singing fans for social media purposes.

Number seven on the list is what can be described as a 21st-century love song. There are no harp-infused melodies and smooth, sultry lyrics. Instead, it's the upbeat tale of a man trying to get the girl of his dreams and persuading her every which way possible. There's the use of classic lines like "two birds of a feather" and "you are the greatest thing about me", along with some millennial-type love lines like "can't be a queen bee without a bee throne" and "I wanna buy ya everything."

The music video is another unique one. The whole concept is that Train has decided to take a much-needed break after touring for a long time, and the footage encompasses one of the things each band member did during that time, from trying to raise money to pursuing a songwriting career, to simply just watching television. In the end, the band unites and continues to please the masses on stage. It's great seeing each band member getting their own featured time within the video and getting to see their personalities on screen. Plus, who doesn't love seeing rock musicians dance around in chicken suits?

"If It's Love" is definitely a crowd-pleasing song that delights the ears every time it's being played.
