A Little Night Music (1973)

Based on the movie Smiles of a Summer Night, by Ingmar Bergman, this musical takes place in turn of the century Sweden. At the center of the plot is actress Desirée Armfeldt and the men who loved her — Fredrik Egerman and the Count Carl-Magnus Malcolm. The musical is also about Desirée and her relationship with her mother and her daughter.
