3. Taken
Taken is a suspenseful movie about a dad tracking down and fighting dangerous low-lives to save his daughter. It's filled with suspense all the way to the very end. Bryan's love for his daughter was so strong, that even if his “particular set of skills” hadn't been enough, his need and desperation to find her would have given him that extra boost.
