Robin Williams
Robin Williams, iconic comedian and actor is well known for battling depression and alcoholism throughout his impressive career.
A Julliard graduate he started his comedy at the beginning of the '70s in California, eventually getting his own show Mork and Mindy in 1978 which ran til 1982. He also appeared in various roles throughout the '80s, including Popeye (1980), Good Morning Vietnam (1987), and Dead Poets Society in 1989. While Williams played roles for family films such as Aladdin and Ms. Doubtfire he also played in serious roles such as The Fisher King and Good Will Hunting in which he got nominated for an Acadamy Award for both films, and received an Oscar for Good Will Hunting.
From then on Williams became a superb acting talent which made him a cinematic staple known by everyone. In 2014 he committed suicide by hanging.
Williams is quoted as saying, "I think the saddest people always try their hardest to make people happy because they know what it's like to feel absolutely worthless and they don't want anyone else to feel like that," according to Good.
