Chris Farley had taken off to stardom from working on Saturday Night Live to acting in comedies such as Black Sheep and Tommy Boy. Although why lovable and hilarious, he also had a desperate struggle with alcohol and depression. His drug abuse eventually led to his death in 1997 in Chicago.

In fact, he had been on a drinking and drug binge for four days before his death. He had also been battling depression due to self-doubts as to how fans perceived him and the pressure that fame put on him.

After returning from his funeral, a close friend had stated that anxiety and self-loathing had been Farley's ”death sentence.”

The two years before his passing he had been in and out of rehab 17 times, including right before his death, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Due to his inability to cope with his depression and drugs, it led to his overdose.
