5. Beth Pearson (Susan Kelechi Watson), This is Us
OK, so we can admit here she's in our top 3 of characters on This Is Us. She's a powerful woman who takes crap from no one while being able to tone it down when it's necessary. She took in her husband's birth father - and smoked pot with him, agreed to be a foster parent and handles the Pearson drama without letting it affect how she raises her girls. Plus, the extra step to sainthood being married to Randall - admit it, that's a full-time job. But when it comes down to it, she's not only the one you want to have your back, but she's got it before you ask.
