1. 9-1-1 (FOX)
This is hands down the best spring show, no matter what the ratings say otherwise. Why? Angela Bassett, Connie Britton and Peter Krause to start. Then there are the discussions about sex addiction, cheating, suicide, after-divorce hookups, teen bullying, Alzheimer's disease and all the other life sucks issues the characters deal when they aren't at work. On the job, it's just as intense from babies flushed down toilets to exploding dead bodies.
The emergencies are police, fire & rescue and 9-1-1 operators so there is no crossover. 9-1-1 gets everyone in on one show, gets them to intermingle and from episode one has viewers emotionally attached to every character - it's really hard to have a favorite!
