Offred is shown her daughter, Hannah
After just testing positive on her pregnancy test and showing serious signs of rebellion, Serena Joy takes Offred on a ride in finale "Night." At first, Offred is overcome with joy at seeing her daughter Hannah, but when she understands she can't touch or talk to her and the doors are cruelly locked. She is desperate to get out of the car and reconnect with her daughter to which Serena Joy coldly responds “As long as my baby is safe, so is yours.”
The Handmaid's Tale is set to return in spring 2018.
