5. Lady Gaga is a musical savant
Lady Gaga was playing piano at 4 years old, at 11, the Juilliard School in Manhattan accepted her, (although she instead attended a private Catholic school in New York.) She wrote her first piano ballad at 13, and she her first performance was in a New York nightclub at 14.
On top of this Lady Gaga landed an early admission to New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, making her one out of 20 from around the globe to do so. Although maybe she could see into the future and ditched the school to instead work three jobs, including being a go-go dancer, molding her creativity and style and building her performance skills, according to Biography.com.
When hearing about life events such as these, it really tunes one in to realize not only is Lady Gaga a Pop culture icon, but she is a genius. She has engineered her rise to fame, her music, her style and although she did not do every single task involving her career since everyone needs help, she is pretty close to doing so. One can compare her to a famous scientist even, but instead of working with science she works with sound, (is a musical scientist too much?) Either way the public perception of her covers the genius up, and it's all ways in the back of our minds, but not too much thought is given to it.
