The longest-running show on Broadway, opened in 1988, has beautiful, familiar music and orchestrations by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Charles Hart and Richard Stilgoe. Following the book of the same name, this musical is about a man who lives under the Paris Opera House and the opera singer he loves. This song, in act 2, involves Christine singing about her father as she walks through the cemetery site where he is buried.
