Daniel Day Lewis stole the show in this biopic on the 16th President of the United States. The film took a look at Abraham Lincoln's efforts to pass the amendment to the Constitution banning slavery permanently. The film boasts the greatest cast Spielberg has ever assembled and is a perfectly executed historical drama. Lincoln garnered an impressive 12 Academy Award nominations.
