Netflix in March: Top 10 things you need to be watching

1. Jessica Jones: Season 2 (March 8)

Jessica Jones is a show that doesn’t get as much love as it should. People like it, sure, but it’s also easily forgotten and passed over and I’m not exactly sure why. Marvel took a huge risk with Jessica Jones — this isn’t a typical superhero show, this is a dark drama about a woman who has been abused, raped and is now an alcoholic. The show’s focus on these themes, putting the superhero action in the background, is something that deserves recognition. The trailer for Season 2 looks like they’re continuing to run with these themes, delving further into Jessica’s character and how she’s coping. If it’s anywhere close to the quality of the first season, then we should be in for a treat.

That’s our list of new shows and movies this month!
