The classic film The Robe is acclaimed critically and beloved by audiences. Set in biblical times, this story follows Marcellus, a man who takes part in crucifying Jesus. Afterward, the event haunts him and leads to a deep faith. Romantic, dramatic and inspiring, this movie won the 1954 Oscars for Best Art Direction and Costume Design as well as being nominated for Best Picture, Best Actor in Leading Role and Best Cinematography.
