The fusion of Zamasu and his reincarnate (Goku Black) is too much to handle for Goku, Vegeta and Trunks by themselves. But Zamasu’s fusion is too much for him to handle as well. The merger created a weakness to be exploited. Having exhausted every tactic in battle, Goku comes up with an idea that could flip the script—he and Vegeta fusing, using the Potara Earrings.
Once the earrings were put on, the two merged and Vegito was reborn.
He wastes no time transforming into Super Saiyan Blue and they proceeded to display their unmatched combined Saiyan fighting powers. But due to the overwhelming stress that Super Saiyan Blue put on the two Saiyans bodies during fusion, Goku and Vegeta split apart in less than an hour.
As the last hope, Trunks transforms into his Super Saiyan Rage form. Friends and people from the city send Trunks energy and he weaponized it into his sword, creating a Spirit Bomb energy sword. The end result has Trunks carving Zamasu in half like a piece of cake and he once again safeguards his world.
