10. "This is All the Power I've Got! A Settlement Between Gods -- Episode 14
This arch is a duplication of the Battle of Gods movie from 2013, but this episode was a reminder why fans love Goku—his fight and sheer will. Beerus had promised to destroy Earth if Goku couldn’t defeat him, which resulted in a relentless onslaught from Goku.
At the final stages of their battle, Goku is pushed past his limits and area code as the two battle beyond Earth’s atmosphere, reaching for every ounce of power within his body to contend with the god of destruction. His last Kamehameha Wave versus Beerus’s Ki blast generated a seismic power blast that knocked Goku out, sending him back to Earth and into Vegeta’s arms.
As Beerus flies back to the ship to honor his word to destroy the planet, he falls asleep mid-way through his blast. His angel Whis proceeds to take Beerus back to his planet, warning Goku and his friends of a possible return.
Upon Whis and Beerus’s transport to their planet, Whis engages in conversation with Beerus lauding a change inside Beerus after his fight with Goku—a skill Goku historically has with opponents.
