1. Susie, aka Alex Borstein
Lovers of The Family Guy may recognize Alex Borstein's voice as Griffin matriarch Lois, but she has been a staple in movies and TV for many decades. She is always funny. As Susie Myerson amalgamation of bartender, talent scout and manager, she sees that Midge has the goods. Susie adapts her lifestyle to help Midge with her routine and life. While becoming friends isn't an easy task, building trust has to happen for either to succeed. Even when Borstein says nothing she is funny. As much as an ensemble as this great show is, Borstein's Susie may be worth the price of admission on her own.
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is nominated for two Golden Globe Awards and season one is now streaming on Amazon Prime.
