Five things that make 'The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel' a must binge show

4.  Late 1950s costumes and sets

Period pieces can be tricky, but as we learned from Mad Men, doing it right can yield magical results when done properly. From the furnishings to the tacky Gaslight Cafe comedy club, everything seems so perfect, but even though it is set in the late 1950s, so much of what is going on seems so relatable now.  When watching the show, you believe you are enjoying life in another time, but the show itself is still timely. However, the fact that people are so well put together is equal parts inspiring and relieving that most people don't have to do that other than for special occasions anymore.
