10. Last Flag Flying (2017)
Starring alongside Bryan Cranston and Laurence Fishburne, Carell plays a Vietnam veteran who’s reunited with his old war buddies in Richard Linklater’s latest film. Last Flag Flying is a serious and somber movie, but it has it’s lighter moments too — Carell being one of the film’s highlights.
