5. Mother! (September 15)
The further we get away from the first time we’ve seen Mother!, the more we’ve grown to appreciate it. Aronofsky’s twisted tale is not for the faint of heart, nor is it the type of movie that the trailers present itself to be. It is, however, remarkable in what it sets out to achieve. We still can’t help but wonder how this movie is going to hold up in another ten years.
