27-year-old Swede Felix Kjellberg has built a highly recognizable brand and a profitable career out of swearing hilariously. He does this as he expertly plays video games of every genre. His recent anti semitic comments, detailed in a highly publicized Wall Street Journal report ended up less profitably. Both Disney and YouTube cut direct ties with him (but didn't bar him from YouTube).
PewDiePie apologized but then flipped a middle finger to the media in his response video. His subscriber count actually increased to more than 54 million subscribers.
