In the early 1990's, Smith worked as a stripper where she met her second husband, 86-year old Howard Marshall II. He was a wealthy old man who spoiled Smith and she loved him for it. He passed away just a year after their marriage in 1995. Smith fought legal battles against his son to obtain his inheritance because the money he showered her with far exceeded what she was earning as a model or playmate.
