7. Take a class
If you learn better in person than on a screen, take a class. A lot of local colleges offer basic levels courses to the public. But, if you’re looking for something cheaper or a little more specified, check out your local retail stores. Lowe’s and Home Depot offer classes on building and decorating. Michael’s and Joanne’s craft stores offer classes ranging from painting to sewing to cake decorating.
