This movie about the true story of the Miracle on the Hudson, though considered one of the top 10 movies of 2016 by the National Board of Review, was overlooked by the Academy in major categories such as Best Director (Clint Eastwood) and Best Actor (Tom Hanks). We know Hanks and Eastwood have Oscars already, but all we ask is for them to be recognized for their great work on this terrific film.
