10. Know where you want to go
The world is huge. There are so many countries and cultures to visit. Or you may want to stay in your own country and explore a bit of your home culture. The first thing to do when planning to travel is to figure out where you want to go. If there is more than one place that comes to mind, make a list. Write down everywhere you wish to visit and then you can figure out where you want to go first.
