3. Put cigarette money in a save jar
The average cost of cigarettes in America is $5.51 a pack, with some states being as high as $12.85 a pack. If you smoke a pack or more a day and want to quit, put your cigarette money in a save jar instead. Think of something that you want to do with that money, whether it is a fancy vacation with a loved one or buying a new car. Print out a picture of what it is and place it next to the jar. Now every time you want to buy a pack of cigarettes you will be reminded of what you would rather do and save the money instead.
