7. Feed the hungry
A census by the National Alliance to End Homelessness in January 2015 stated that 564,708 people were homeless in the United States. That doesn’t include those who have homes but are poor or unemployed and therefore can’t afford to eat. Fortunately, many organizations throughout the country, including Meals on Wheels, offer food to the less fortunate. Donate your time to help prepare and serve food to the hungry in your community.
