10. Give your time to a local school
Teaching is a hard job. It’s stressful and very time consuming. Parents are often very busy as well, resulting in not a lot of time help out inside the classroom. Whether you tutor after school hours, monitor during recess, offer your grading skills as a T.A., or give your time to help during the school play, local volunteers are always greatly appreciated.
