Pride begins to suspect a third party is involved so he focuses on the piece of land where the Vets are rebuilding. It turns out that Tammy’s ex, the one who stole Katrina funds, had been connected to the site and the developers wanted to keep the building for profit and not for residential areas. The developers are the Aufiero Partners, who are part of the mob. When they look into facial recognition on Ramon, they realize he trafficked weapons for them and likely Percy did not know this connection.
