6. The Conjuring (2013)- Music box
Music boxes are creepy – this is common knowledge. However, few have leveraged this to the degree that director James Wan and composer Joseph Bishara did in The Conjuring. These few high-pitched tones put listener’s teeth on edge and instantly add to the suspense.
