8. Kidnapping victim
When the team discovers the victim had been threatened via e-mail, they trace it to a man named Hank Clarkson. But it turns out that he is the father of a young man who went missing. He and his wife had been trying to pay a ransom for their son’s safe return. Petty Officer Barrett had been trying to help apprehend the suspect, but things went wrong. Hank had only sent the e-mail to stop the drop from happening since he was worried for what would happen.
