Designing Women
Designing Women was created by Linda Bloodworth-Thomason and aired from Sept. 1986 through May 1993 and challenged the TV landscape by not only being very funny, but it also discussed important issues such as AIDS, domestic violence, racism, and fat shaming. The series, set in Atlanta focused on four women and a man who work together in the interior design field.
While we sadly lost Dixie Carter, Meshach Taylor, Alice Ghostley and Jan Hooks, it would be nice to catch up with the remaining partners from Sugarbakers & Associates, Suzanne (Delta Burke), Mary Jo (Annie Potts) and Charlene (Jean Smart) and learn what happened with them.
