A Discovery of Witches is a historical fiction fantasy novel about a witch who denies her powers, a 1,500-year-old vampire, and a manuscript called Ashmole 782. The All Souls Trilogy explores history, alchemy, and magic. Plus, this vampire is way better than any of the Twlight vampires. This series has a great story line that would keep movie audiences at the edge of their seats. Deborah Harkness has posted on her website that the series might be made in to a TV series.
