10 books that should be made into movies

10. Wade of Aquitaine by Ben Parris

Wade of Aquitaine is a historical fiction and science fiction hybrid novel. The main character Wade travels back to the 9th century after discovering his synesthesia is transformed by acupuncture. The action packed 9th century battles would look great on screen (like in the movie timeline). I would be curious how they would make time travel look for the movie.

Parris was offered a medium-budget TV-movie deal for Wade of Aquitaine that included the condition that he write the rest of the series immediately. Parris decided to wait for a big screen release and complete the next two books on his own time, rather than rush to create something that didn’t meet his standards.
