6. Four houses—or four houses and everyone else
While there are many characters not associated with the main four houses of Stark, Lannister, Baratheon, and Targaryen, most are. Assign everyone a house, and when a character from that house is shown make them drink. And if you have a large group, perhaps adding a fifth category for stories not involving a direct member of one of the main four great houses—so lumping together Daario, Ramsay Bolton, the Tyrells, the Greyjoys, Sam Tarly, Petyr Baelish or others into a non-four house category could yield amusing results for the right episode.
