10. Milah and Killian
In The Enchanted Forest of long ago, Milah, Rumple, and young Bae were gathering firewood in the forest. As Milah and Rumple argued, young Bae wondered off, got bit by a snake, and fell unconscious. In an effort to save him, Milah and Rumple sought the help of a healer whose price was too steep for them to pay. Milah devised a plan for Rumple to kill the healer and steal the healing potion. He left on that errand, at which point the dreamy-eyed pirate, Captain Killian Jones, showed up.
Even though she assured Killian that her marital responsibilities would not change, they obviously did. How Rumple handled the situation with the healer does a lot to explain her loathing of him. Instead of killing the healer, he ended up making a deal. It turns out that he promised the healer his second born child in exchange for the life of his first. Upon hearing this news, Milah became furious, exclaiming, “Well, thank you very much for deciding the rest of my already narrow little life for me!”
