1. The shocking revelation
In the end, Rumple discovered that Belle was pregnant with his second child. It’s a troublesome problem considering he promised his second born to a healer in The Enchanted Forest hundreds of years ago. Then again, once he became the Dark One, Rumple did return and kill the healer so that he wouldn’t have to give him his second born when he thought he would have a child with Cora. Rumple thought at that time that killing the man would essentially negate the deal.
Hades summoned Rumple back to the throne room to explain to him that there is no getting out of a deal. With the healer in the Underworld, the contract now belongs to Hades. So, if Rumple doesn’t want to give Hades his and Belle’s baby, he must become Hades’ henchman. After all, “all magic comes with a price!”
