10. Brooklyn
Based on Colm Tóibín's novel of the same name, Brooklyn tells the lovely story of a young Irish girl, Eilis (Saoirse Ronan), whose life changes completely when she moves to New York. She's helped through her feelings of homesickness by her boarding house full of young women and the uptight but surprisingly hilarious landlady, played by Julie Walters. Soon enough, Eilis meets a dashing young Italian man and falls madly in love. Nominated for Best Picture at the 2016 Academy Awards, it's hard to go wrong with the nostalgic, incredibly beautiful Brooklyn.
