Though the lead character of The Intern is played by Robert De Niro, mothers will find themselves identifying most strongly with Anne Hathaway's, Jules. As the CEO of a startup fashion company, she's a young mom finding it impossible to balance work and family, staying at the office until late in the evening and struggling to deal with the stress of it all. The relationship between De Niro and Hathaway is the star of the show, but if you're the child of a mother who worked incredibly long hours to get you to where you are today, you may just come away from The Intern appreciating her even more. And if you're that mother yourself, you'll likely find a lot to relate to.
