After spending years as a character actor, Bryan Cranston finally earned his breakthrough role on AMC’s Breaking Bad. That success on the small screen translated to his first Oscar nomination for Trumbo. In the film, he stars as Blacklisted screenwriter Dalton Trumbo, who battles the Hollywood establishment during the 1950s.
