6. Lucy Hale
I wanted to like this look, I really did. When she first started posting Instagram photos of her getting ready, I immediately obsessed over that perfect braid and even more perfect berry lip. Even the peek at the lace-up front intrigued me; Hale is generally pretty trend when it comes to her fashion choices and I always look forward to seeing what she’s wearing. I might still be trying to process this look; the semi-peplum hemline, lace skirt, and lace-up top are all major trends right now, which is probably where the issue comes in. Too many trends at once makes this look a weird mix of trying too hard and not trying hard enough.
