Emily Bett Rickards was essentially a newcomer when she landed the role of Felicity Smoak in the CW's hit comic book-based show Arrow. The character, a tech genius working in the IT department of Queen Consolidated, was only supposed to be in two scenes of one episode. But Bett Rickards charmed star Stephen Amell, journalists at a screening and eventually audiences so much that she became an instant favorite and was written into a full role. Now, the witty, incredibly likeable Felicity Smoak is the brains, and often the heart, of Team Arrow, and a strong-minded love interest to Amell's title character Arrow/Oliver Queen.
And it's not just her talent that makes 24-year-old Bett Rickards someone people want to see stick around the business. She also happens to be quite a looker. With her classic blond hair, blue eyes and a narrow face, she has a pure, natural beauty that she enhances with an always-playful smile. Let us hope Arrow and Felicity Smoak aren't going anywhere soon, because this girl is too good to let disappear from our screens.
