Vance Joy spent part of 2015 opening up for Taylor Swift during her 1989 World Tour. He also released his debut album, Dream Your Life Away. Joy has a vulnerability to his voice and with his performances. It's like he is letting the audience truly experience what emotions he was going through at the time, from heartbreak to joy, each feeling can be felt and related to with his music. Songs like "Georgia" and "Mess is Mine" capture this brilliant talent.
Joy was exposed to thousands of music lovers night after night on tour with Swift. If the success of her previous opening acts (Ed Sheeran) is any indication, 2016 will be a huge year for Joy.
