Danny is released from prison and gets in the car with Loretta. When she tells him the evidence shows that Alonzo was the person who shot the victim at a certain time, Danny adamantly tells her it wasn’t him. He reminds her what time their check in is and she remembers being on the phone with him and hearing someone calling out to Danny. It had been Alonzo and he didn’t shoot anyone.
